Pre-College Summer Program

Summer Pre-College

  • Six-week intensive program offers up to four classes
  • Twice a week for two hours and 50 minutes on either Mon./Thu. or Tue./Fri. Click here for additional information on our online Pre-College summer classes.
  • A glimpse into college life and helps determine if art & design is the right choice
  • Non-refundable/non-transferable $525 registration fee for Summer semester

Pre-College Summer Program Dates

Summer 2010
June 24-25, 2010 Housing Check-In
June 26, 2010 Mandatory Orientation
June 28, 2010 First Day of Class
August 6, 2010 Last Day of Class
August 7, 2010 Final Exhibition & Housing Check-Out

Housing

  • Academy housing is available to Pre-College Summer Program students at a special low cost
  • Students staying in housing must be mature and responsible;  program is an intensive art program, and is not a "summer camp"
  • All students under 18 are assigned to buildings specifically and exclusively used for the Pre-College Summer Program, and are supervised by on-site advisors
  • To be eligible for housing students must be between the ages of 15–18, in good behavioral standing, and enrolled in four Pre-College Summer Program classes
  • Students residing in campus housing must maintain the behavioral and attendance requirements of the program

  • Apply online: 2009 Housing Application (select Pre-College Summer Program when selecting the semester!).

Campus Activities & Special Events (CASE)

  • Chaperoned recreational, cultural, and community oriented activities
