Degrees/Classes

Undergraduate Degrees

  Bachelor of Fine Arts

Students enrolled in the BFA program will complete 132 units, consisting of three sections:

Major Courses 78 units
Art Electives 9 units
Liberal Arts Courses 45 units
TOTAL 132 units

Students must earn a total of 132 semester units with an overall cumulative grade-point average of at least 2.0 in order to receive their degree. A minimum of 12 units must be taken in Art History. A Petition to Graduate form must be filed by students with the Student Services Office prior to their last semester if they are to be eligible for graduation at the end of that semester. Students should contact their Student Advisor for detailed information regarding the petition period and deadlines.

  Bachelor of Arts (Multimedia Communications only)

Students enrolled in the B.A. program will complete 120 units, consisting of three sections:

51 units
Minor or By Advisement Courses 
15 units
Liberal Arts 
45 units
Electives 9 units
TOTAL
120 units
