Our industry partners–established and emerging companies, artists and designers–continually seek to hire, mentor and collaborate with our students and graduates. Each semester, the Academy hosts top partners for industry panels, company presentations, in-class lectures, portfolio review sessions, and interviews. Businesses can recruit on campus, post jobs, and arrange on-campus and online industry panels and recruiting sessions.
Designing Jaguar
The School of Industrial Design partnered with the Jaguar Land Rover team to design the Jaguar of 2030. Students experienced the entire design process, from conception to formal industry presentation.

Jaguar and Academy of Art University partnered to offer Academy students the opportunity to work under the direction of the global Jaguar design team.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles
Academy of Art University’s Industrial Design students collaborated with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles to create a Premium Concept Vehicle for the Jeep brand. Students were guided by Mark Moushegian,FCA Advanced Research Design Manager, Tim Anness, FCA Head of Advanced Design, and our very own Tom Matano, ArtU IND Executive Director.
Blizzard Entertainment
Blizzard Entertainment partners with the School of Game Development at Academy of Art University to provide lectures and student portfolio reviews. Many of our students have entered and won the annual Blizzard Student Art Contest, earning mentoring, internships and employment with Blizzard.
