If you’re interested in any aspect of animation, visual development, or digital painting please join us for this exclusive online event.

On Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 7pm PDT, Academy of Art University School of Visual Development invites you to a free animation/visual development workshop with Jeremy Saliba, industry professional and online coordinator and instructor at the Academy.

In this 60-minute interactive workshop Mr. Saliba will share his creative journey from Academy student to industry professional doing work for Image Comics, Lucasfilm, Dynamite Entertainment, NVIDIA graphics, and more. He will also demonstrate some of the digital painting skills he uses in his career, and provide insights into what it takes to become a professional in this industry.

Jeremy Saliba received his BFA in Illustration with an emphasis in 2D animation from Academy of Art University in 2003. He later joined the Academy as a part-time instructor in 2007, spearheading new curricula that integrated Wacom Cintiq technology, and becoming Online Curriculum coordinator for the School of Visual Development in 2014.

Saliba is also a cover artist for Dynamite Entertainment, and worked as the art director for the graphic novel Ultrasylvania. Previously, he worked as digital artist, concept artist, and character designer for clients including NVIDIA graphics and Tor Books. Currently, he is working on various visual development projects for Image Comics, and is creating Lucasfilm Licensed Star Wars artwork.
