Academy Award-winning Producer/Writer/Director, Jana Memel Executive Director of the Schools of Entertainment at the Academy of Art
University will moderate a workshop conducted by Anthony Montes, who has been teaching the Meisner Technique around the world for 30 years. In this interactive workshop he will be demonstrating the Meisner technique which enables actors to “Live truthfully under imaginary circumstances.”

Ms. Memel has produced more than 25 features and over 80 live-action shorts. Her work has won three Oscars, and multiple Emmy’s, Writers Guild and Directors Guild Awards. In her current role as Executive Director of the Schools of Entertainment at Academy of Art University, she brings a wealth of talent and expertise to mentor students interested in careers in the world of entertainment.

Anthony Montes is an Actor/Writer/Acting Teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience in the states and around the world. He has written over 40 plays, 11 screenplays and travels extensively with his One-Man Show, Outta The Darkness Into The Light.
