My advice to aspiring photographers is to clearly identify what you want to accomplish as an artist, and then dedicate yourself 200% to achieving that goal. Do not let anything get in your way. It takes considerable time and focus to develop exceptional skills in any medium, so commit yourself fully to the process of achieving excellence. Give yourself the gift of patience and daily practice. Stay curious, and ask a lot of questions! Jump in with both feet, and thoroughly enjoy the incredible journey of art education.”

I Owned and operated Spindler Photographic Services. A Custom film processing and printing lab in San Francisco with my wife Cissy Spindler from 1984-2006. Among many others, my clients included Annie Liebovitz, Michael Kenna, Herb Greene, Jay Blakesberg, Will Mosgrove, Chris Wahlberg, Jim Marshall, and Baron Wolman, and many more. We would work on a very personal level with these artists to make sure that my prints of their work presented as pieces that interpreted their original vision.
