Ready to explore the heart of Britain? This 15-day journey takes you through the best of England and Scotland, offering an unforgettable blend of history, culture, and adventure. You’ll spend nine days immersed in the energy of London, with day trips to the historic city of York and the picturesque town of Bath. Then, journey north to Scotland for five incredible days, discovering the charm of Edinburgh and the rugged beauty of the Highlands. From world-famous castles to iconic museums and galleries, every moment is packed with rich experiences and sights that will leave you in awe. Whether you’re wandering through the halls of royal palaces, marveling at priceless works of art, or stepping back in time at ancient abbeys, this is your chance to see the U.K. like never before. Application Process and Timeline

To register, contact your Advisor to enroll in the class and please fill out the Student Registration Form and email it to Liberalarts@academyart.edu.

Deadlines:

  • Registration deadline: January 14, 2025
  • $200 deposit due January 14, 2025
  • Tuition deadline: February 1, 2025
  • Balance due (including single-room fee if applicable): March 3, 2025
What’s Included: Program Highlights expand_more
  • 15 breakfasts & 2 dinners
  • Air-conditioned coach with Wi-Fi in most countries or alternative transportation (such as rail journeys)
  • An exclusive trip Manager and separate driver
  • Hotel tips, restaurant tips for included meals, and local taxes
  • A group airport transfer on the first and last day of your guided holiday
  • Cherry-picked hotels, all tried and trusted (hotels listed are to be used as a guide only and are subject to availability. If the quoted hotel is unavailable, we will secure another hotel in the same category)
  • Gratuities to trip manager, coach drivers, and local guides
  • 7-day Travelcard (Day 1 – Day 7)
What’s Not Included expand_more
The following elements of the Study Abroad program are not included in the student program fee of $6,025:
  • Academy of Art University tuition for three units
  • Flights to/from London and Edinburg
  • Optional $1,335 single room fee
  • Travel insurance
  • Visa, if applicable
  • Meals (other than the daily breakfast and two dinners that are included)
  • Personal expenses
Housing expand_more
  • Twin-share hotel accommodation is included in the student program fee
  • Students can request a Single Room for an additional cost of $1,335.00, subject to availability. This fee is due March 3, 2025
Travel Insurance expand_more
All participants in the program must have comprehensive travel insurance. The program vendor, Contiki, offers travel insurance that can be purchased directly through them. To purchase travel insurance click here.

Other Important Information

Key Dates and Refund Policy:

  • The Student Program Fee is 100% refundable until January 27, 2025
  • The $200.00 deposit is forfeited for cancellations after January 27, 2025
  • You will receive a 70% refund of the Student Program Fee if you cancel between March 25 and April 22
  • You will receive a 50% refund of the Student Program Fee if you cancel between April 23 and May 20, 2025
  • After May 20, 2025, there will be no refunds of any kind
Travel Visas expand_more
If you are an international student without a U.S. passport, you may need a visa to travel to the U.K. Please contact your international admissions specialist immediately to verify whether you need a visitor/tourist visa for this trip.
